Developing Python Exercises for an Undergraduate Cosmology Course
Oral-In-person · Withdrawn
Abstract
Looking at four topics in cosmology, these exercises help students further explore how the universe works. The topics explore: curvature of the universe, single and multiple component universes, and the Lyman break. Many students do not have much coding experience with astronomical topics. This will help develop problem solving skills and make concepts easier to visualize, helping students develop knowledge to use in future classes.
