Nonlinear carrier transport under a uniform electric field.
ORAL
Abstract
In recent years, non-linear transport phenomena, particularly the shift current and nonlinear Hall effect, have been the focus of condensed matter research [1][2]. However, theoretical research on higher-than-second-order transport has not been performed as extensively as research on second-order transport phenomena. In this presentation, we will discuss third-order carrier transport due to a uniform electric field, taking into account both the change in the energy eigenvalues and wavefunctions of electrons and solving the Boltzmann transport equation.
