Bulk photovoltaic effect in rhombohedral graphene

ORAL

Abstract

Recently, rhombohedral graphene has attracted significant attention due to its rich electronic landscape and high gate tunability of topological and correlated phases. Meanwhile, bulk photovoltaic effect (BPVE)―a nonlinear light-matter interaction that generates a dc photocurrent under uniform illumination in the absence of any source-drain bias―has emerged as a topic of broad interest. In this work, we systematically investigate the linear and circular BPVE in rhombohedral graphene, offering new insight into its nonlinear optical responses and potential optoelectronic applications.
