Quantum Computing with Quantum Emitters
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Quantum emitters, such as those based on defects or quantum dots, enable the deterministic generation of entangled photons in spin-photon interfaces, a key resource for scaling photonic quantum computing. We will discuss how these systems can be utilized to implement fault-tolerant quantum computing, how architectures can be tailored to them, what hardware requirements are needed to achieve fault-tolerance, and experimental progress towards the required technology.
