Temperature Trends using Surface Stations

In this study over 100 years of minimum and maximum daily temperature from over 500 stations around the world were analyzed. Linear regression was used to analize the yearly average and the residuals were studied. Seasonal and periodic decomposition, as well as analysis of the residuals, were used for the monthly average data. Other time series data analysis techniques were also examined.
