A Committee of One's Own: A History of the CSWP

The APS Committee on the Status of Women in Physics has its roots in a member-led initiative in 1971. Since then, the CSWP has become one of the most active Council committees within our Society. The goal of the CSWP is to encourage and support women's participation in physics via its programs and awards.
