X-ray Nanovision of Ionic Dynamics
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Ionic motion at the nanoscale remains poorly understood, largely because operando tools capable of resolving ions moving through a crystalline lattice have not existed until very recently. I will present several studies that use Coherent X-ray scattering to directly image and probe ionic transport inside operating energy storage devices and the structural response of the underlying atomic lattice to that transport.
