Emulating Physics in Various Geometries via Josephson Junction Arrays

Oral-In-person

Abstract

We propose an approach to realize physical systems in a variety of geometries using Josephson junction arrays. In particular, we use discrete isometry groups called Coxeter groups to systematically generate lattice structures with different geometric properties. We further demonstrate how superconducting wire networks based on these lattices can be engineered to emulate physical phenomena associated with the corresponding geometries.
