On optical character of Altermagnets

Altermagnets have emerged as a new class of magnetic materials that exhibit characteristics of both ferromagnets and antiferromagnets. In this talk, we will explore how optical responses can reveal the distinctive hallmarks of altermagnets. Furthermore, we will demonstrate how the underlying symmetry of altermagnets influences these responses.
