What's Behind Gold Standard Science?

The administration's attack on American science persists unabated. This presentation argues that we need to take a closer look at the science of the current administration as they see it themselves. The crisis in American science is not only what the administration is doing to science destructively, but also what it's replacing science with, seemingly constructively. The fulcrum of my argument rests on an analysis of Executive Order 14303: "Restoring Gold Standard Science," issued on May 23, 2025. What does the administration and its conservative followers value in this Executive Order?
