Efficient quantum thermal simulation

Abstract

We will discuss recent progress surrounding a general-purpose quantum thermal simulation method (Nature 646, 561–566 (2025)): a precise model of open-system thermalization in nature and a quantum analog of classical Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods.
