Ordering nuclear spins in silicon quantum dots: part-II
ORAL
Abstract
The ability to order nuclear spin ensembles in ways that suppress statistical fluctuations would revolutionize quantum computing, sensing, and networking. In this work, we demonstrate a phase-coherent ordering of 29Si nuclear spins in gate-defined silicon quantum dots. In the second part of this this talk I will discuss how we use this ordering to observe Larmor precession and inhomogeneous dephasing of the nuclear spins interacting with the electrons in the quantum dot. We further demonstrate control of the collective nuclear spin phase. Our work opens a new route for coherent nuclear spin control utilizing spin orbit coupling.
