Exploration of Magnetic and Structural Phases of Altermagnet Fe2Mo3O8

ORAL

Abstract

Structural phases of the Fe2Mo3O8 altermagnet system as a function of pressure, temperature, and magnetic field are being studied. Combined simulation and diffraction measurements are utilized to determine the structure vs. pressure and temperature. The measurements are used to refine the crystal structures. Simulations are conducted to explore the resulting magnetic configurations based on the determined structures. Pressure is seen as a clean way to tune the properties of this class of materials.
