Investigating Self-Replicating Dynamics Across Diffusion Ratios in Nonlinear Reaction–Diffusion Systems

POSTER

Abstract

Reaction–diffusion systems provide a powerful framework for studying the emergence of complex spatiotemporal structures. In this work, branching and self-replicating regimes of the Gray–Scott model are investigated through a C++ simulation designed to iterate over hundreds of parameter configurations. The study focuses on the role of diffusion ratio within the parameter space defined by the feed and removal rates. Preliminary results indicate that systematic variations in diffusion ratios lead to measurable shifts in the extent of self-replicating pattern regimes, suggesting a potential route for controlled exploration of nonlinear pattern formation.
