From Multi-Band Topology to Single-Band Quantum Geometry
Oral-In-person
Abstract
In AB-stacked bilayer graphene, we show that a quadratic band touching with nontrivial two-band topology generates finite, valley-concentrated quantum geometry and a strong nonlinear valley Hall response. More generally, multi-band topology directly constrains single-band geometry and measurable nonlinear transport in two-dimensional systems with space-time inversion symmetry.
