Radio Frequency Reflectometry in PbTe-Pb Hybrid Nanowires

POSTER

Abstract

PbTe-Pb hybrid nanowire is a promising material candidate for Majorana zero modes and topological quantum computation. Here, we demonstrate the compatibility of this material with the radio wave frequency (rf) technique. Despite of the large dielectric constant of PbTe and possible dielectric loss of the CdTe substrate, rf-reflectometry experiments are still feasible for PbTe nanowires, quantum dots, and PbTe-Pb hybrid devices at zero and finite magnetic fields. Our results pave the way toward fast control of Majorana qubits in this emerging material system.
