Microwave sensing (RFlexiscopy) of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Heterostructures (Part 2)
POSTER
Abstract
Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) and their heterostructures offer a versatile platform for exploring emergent correlated and topological phenomena in the two-dimensional limit. Yet, conventional electrical and optical probes often have only limited access to the intrinsic electrodynamic response of low energy collective modes in these exotic phases. Here, we present a microwave sensing framework for nondestructive characterization of TMD materials. This approach enables contact-free probing of both ground and excited states, providing new insights into the rich phase diagram of two-dimensional quantum matter.
