Spectroscopic Probing of Magnetoresistive Switching in Porphene, a 2D Porphyrin Based Polymer

Poster-In-person

Abstract

Porphene is a 2D material made by the oxidative polymerization of porphyrin based monomers. It can be doped with a number of different transition metals, dramatically changing the electronic and magnetic properties of these materials. In particular, iron doped porphene is predicted to exhibit conductance switching when applying a magnetic field. We present experimental evidence in support of these magnetoresistive effects.
