Diraq's spin qubits in 300mm CMOS wafers

Abstract

Leveraging traditional planar CMOS technology, Diraq has partnered with imec to demonstrate that the qubit designs originally prototyped in UNSW cleanrooms can be replicated with industrial processes on 300mm wafers. We show how the coherences and fidelities transferred over, the material science behind this feat and how it will enable scaling up this qubit technology. We also discuss other indicators of performance of spin qubits at scale, such as their performance when controlled by integrated cryoCMOS, their resilience to temperature, and their prospects for high fidelity mid-circuit measurements.
