Implementation of improvements to the LUCI framework

Abstract

In the past year there have been multiple improvements to the LUCI framework introduced in 2024 for adapting surface code circuits to broken qubits and couplers. In this talk, we will present implementations of these improvements, as well as numerical benchmarking results to quantify their impact. We will also discuss future extensions of LUCI.
