Utilizing COMSOL for Simulation Benchmarking and Multiphysics Modeling in Superconducting Qubit Devices

ORAL

Abstract

Simulating superconducting circuits is crucial for design and analysis of quantum devices. This talk presents work using COMSOL Multiphysics to perform capacitive, eigenmode, and driven simulations of superconducting quantum circuits. We benchmark these simulations against experimental data to evaluate accuracy and computational performance. The results are then compared with open-source simulation tools to assess their capabilities and provide a reference for developing open-source workflows. Additionally, we explore COMSOL's Multiphysics features to study coupled phenomena beyond standard RF circuit physics.
