Superconducting mechanism of UCoGe and UGe2
ORAL
Abstract
We provide a theoretical explanation of the superconducting mechanism of UCoGe and UGe2 from the ab-initio density functional theory and Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer theory. The method bridges the normal and spin-triplet superconducting states and calculates directly the critical temperatures and superconducting gaps. Further calculation of the specific heats and upper magnetic fields for the Meissner effect at the critical temperatures follows directly. The results show that the exchange interaction is crucial to the superconducting mechanism.
