Cecilia Helena Payne-Gaposchkin

This project will briefly tell the story of one of the 20$^{th}$ century's most prominent astronomers, who through perseverance triumphed at the center of astrophysics. It also tells the story of the rough times in which Cecilia Helena Payne-Gaposchkin lived in as women then were held to much lower standards than they are today and endured unjust conditions. It also provides an analysis of the evolution of the astrophysics of stellar composition over a lengthy and prosperous career.
