Three Dimensional Spatial Recognition Mapping of Magnetic Fields Utilizing Commercial Commodity Hardware

POSTER

Abstract

A three dimensional portable tracking system can be developed using the relatively cheap commodity hardware known as the Wiimote. The Wiimote can be used to track position data, and can be coupled with data from other instruments. This research aims to integrate position and magnetic field strength data to build a virtual map of surrounding magnetic fields.
