Search for Prompt Lepton-Jets with ATLAS Data

ORAL

Abstract

A search is presented for a new, dark sector gauge boson with a mass of about 1 GeV/c$^{2}$ and decaying to jets of collimated electrons and/or muons. The analysis is performed with data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in proton–proton collisions. Results using run 1 data with center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are presented along with prospects for run 2 data with center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.
