The Exciting World of Nothingness

Abstract
To do something is hard, to do nothing is harder, and to do something from nothingness is even harder but brings great excitement. I would like to share with you the lure that the world of nothingness has for a quantum material physicist at the Texas Center of Superconductivity at the University of Houston.
