Debunking Pseudoscience: A University Course

We describe a course on epistemology that we created in 2003 and taught for 26 consecutive semesters. Topics included psychics, astrology, Big Foot, UFOs, Roswell, the Bermuda Triangle, ghost hunters, homeopathy, forgeries, and many more. The goal was to teach students not what to think but rather how to think critically. The presentation will include audience particpation and popular, hopefully amusing, demonstrations from the course.
