Validation of the Tau Lepton Identification using the CMS Detector at Large Hadron Collider
ORAL
Abstract
With the successful operation of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in November and December 2009, the Compact Solenoid Muon (CMS) collaboration is preparing for the 7 TeV collisions expected early this year. The Texas A{\&}M CMS group has been working on validation of the CMS tau-lepton identification code in aiming at search for cosmologically consistent collider signals. We describe the validation program that we have designed.
