Measurement of properties of the Z and W bosons from the ATLAS experiment
ORAL
Abstract
We present the results from a study of the kinematic properties of the W and Z bosons produced in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider at the European Center for Nuclear and Particle physics, CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. In particular, we present the measured mass distribution of these two particles from the most current data from the ATLAS experiment, and compare them with the theoretical predictions. Although the properties of the Z boson are very well known, those of the W boson are known to uncertainties of about ten times that of the Z bosons. Improved results of W and Z boson properties are presented.
