The Physics Degree in an Engineering Career

COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited

Abstract

This presentation provides four case studies for engineering careers that are initiated with undergraduate Physics degrees. The author’s own career and those of three colleagues are used as the case studies (which generally involve Aerospace Engineering careers). The intent is to convey the advantages and disadvantages that the Physics degree provides as well as concepts that a Physics major might build on in moving into another field.
