Measuring Light's Motion on a Rotating Platform
POSTER
Abstract
This experiment uses a concentric optical cavity to measure the direction of the motion of light in a rotating frame of reference. Our hypothesis asks what affect does motion have on the measured trajectory of photons? Does the trajectory of light measured in a rotating platform differ from that measured in a non-rotating platform? The apparatus set-up, operation, and measured results are presented.
