The Cassini Mission to Saturn revolutionized our understanding of Saturn, its complex rings, the amazing assortment of moons and the planet1s dynamic magnetic environment. It lasted almost 20 years, thirteen of those years studying every aspect of the Saturnian system. So why would NASA end such a successful program? Julie Webster will discuss why the mission was ended and how, even as it was ending, the Cassini spacecraft continued to add invaluable science to our knowledge of Saturn.
