25 Years of PhysTEC: The Physics Teacher Education Coalition
ORAL
Abstract
The Physics Teacher Education Coalition (PhysTEC) works to ensure that every high school student has access to a qualified physics teacher. Over 350 member institutions, partner organizations and individuals form a national coalition addressing this mission. The coalition helps colleges and universities transform their physics teacher education programs by providing funding, professional conferences, resources, and other support. The American Physical Society and the American Association of Physics Teachers celebrate 25 years of the coalition's impact in the community of physics teacher education and look ahead to what's next.
